This 270 page book celebrates tools from 1.5 million years ago such as hand axes to new technologies and scientific breakthroughs like 3D printers and drones. The book accompanied a major exhibition that celebrated the fall 2014 reopening of Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, with a collection spanning ten Smithsonian museums. The cover is foil stamped on exposed board with debossed clothespin and cloth binding.
